What was broken
Small clinics lose patients to missed phone calls. A receptionist is expensive, scheduling apps are clunky, and elderly patients struggle with web forms.
02 · Approach
How I built it
Live speech-to-speech AI on OpenAI Realtime API. Patient speaks naturally → agent understands intent → checks calendar → confirms slot → writes to MongoDB. Also supports chat for users who prefer text. Function Calling for all calendar operations.
